Nikita closed the door to the small office space that was rented close to the airport. She pulled out a computer as she looked at Lisa. There was something that Nikita was missing and Lisa was looking in Nikita’s purse for gum. As Lisa moved some things out, Nikita saw the card that she sometimes would leave while doing the deeds of the Angel.

It was something that Nikita had recently admitted to Michael. She didn’t leave the card to identify the work as hers, but rather to try to make it hard to figure out as she would somehow pull off two things that were identified as being the Angel at the same time – and one person couldn’t be in two places at once.

Suddenly, Nikita pulled the comm unit and connected to Jason. “I need patched in with Michael.”

“Are you compromised? I didn’t track anything…” Jason countered as Nikita started to open up a computer, taking care of more business that needed to be done.

Michael had to be the Angel.

“We are fine.”

“Has Michael been compromised?” Jason inquired and Nikita groaned. “No… everything is going as it was to go… but I have a change… because the detective isn’t going to let up right away… she’ll connect us to this…”

“Ah, that might happen…”

“Jason, I’m pulling together files… can you get them somewhere in that compound to be easily found?” Nikita interrupted Jason’s counter to her last statement. She started sending the files over and knew that it would be enough to take down that family if found by the police. “And patch me into Michael. Now.”

Nikita waited as she continued to type, quickly connecting to server after server, hiding what she was doing. She heard Jason slightly swearing as she knew that he had no idea what she was doing. She would have to handle him later.

“Nikita? I thought we were staying off the air,” Michael came onto the comm unit. Nikita didn’t slow down her typing but she looked up at the wall and glanced at Lisa quickly. “Do you still have the card in your wallet?”

“Card?”

“The Angel card,” Nikita identified as she almost rolled her eyes. She had only recently explained to Michael why she would even leave it and Michael admitted to having the one that Nat had given to him as evidence to track the Angel down around in his wallet.

“Yes,” Michael tentatively replied and Nikita exhaled as she started to execute commands to make actions happen. “You have to leave it there… and you have to leave them alive.”

There was silence from Michael but Jason shouted “Why?”. Nikita waited as she wasn’t there to answer to Jason. “Kita… that could lead someone right back to us.”

“How?” Nikita inquired. “The Angel is in Boston tonight also…”

“Kita…” Michael whispered and Nikita sent the files and leaned away from the keyboard. “Jason, I sent you files that we have on that family… you need to get those on one of their computers in that house… make it easy for the police.”

“Kita… this is a risk,” Michael spoke again as Jason continued to mutter in the background. Then he gasped. “I might find more evidence… with this code you left me…”

“You don’t have much time Jason,” Nikita spoke as she folded the laptop down and she looked at Lisa. “Michael, this makes sense. Detective Rowles and the Chief… they wouldn’t expect us to go take care of this… and the Angel is going to be in two places at once… you know that it has happened in the past.”

“When you were irrationally afraid that someone was getting close to knowing that it was you,” Michael pointed out and Nikita leaned back. “This gives you another option, Michael. You and Davenport want this option. We’ll be safe this way too.”

Nikita waited as she stood up and looked at Lisa again. “You have the choice, Michael. You are onsite now. Be careful.”

Nikita found it hard to pull the comm unit out, but she couldn’t listen to all that was going to happen. But she knew this Michael and knew that this was a perfect move to make at this time.

“I’m sorry that you have to leave St. Louis,” Nikita touched Lisa’s shoulder as she sat down next to the girl. She shrugged her shoulders slightly and looked at Nikita. “It was a place.”

Nikita couldn’t help but wonder if this was the attitude that her daughter could grow up having if they didn’t find her. Although it was a bit eerie that Lisa’s life was being turned upside down due to a organized crime family that was loosely connected to the organized crime family that caused Nikita’s daughter to be launched into some odd version of Witness Protection. But Jason and Tom were chasing down any possible connections to see if there was any correlation and nothing was found. Something told Nikita that none would be found.

“Is everyone gone from Section?” Lisa inquired and Nikita swallowed. “There is no more Section.”

“Did they die?” Lisa questioned bluntly. Nikita rubbed her elbows. “Not everyone.”

“But some?”

“Too many,” Nikita admitted as she looked out and through the room, knowing that they were still safe. “I got out those who I could… the good.”

Lisa leaned her head into her hands as she gazed at Michael. “I remember you telling me about Michael.”

“You were the only one I ever talked about Michael with, Lisa. That made you very special,” Nikita explained and Lisa rolled her eyes. Nikita knew that she didn’t believe her, but Nikita knew that it was the truth. Michael’s name was almost not allowed to be muttered inside of Section once she took over. It was the only way that she could function. But to help Lisa leave, Nikita had to weave a story that anything was possible. Ironically, back then, Nikita never thought that she would be getting out.

“Am I going to live with you now?” Lisa asked and Nikita cupped her face. “I know that you would like that Lisa… but I know a couple that really does need you.”

“You don’t want me?”

“Lisa, that’s not it,” Nikita shook her head from side to side. “You are going to get a stable family. So if something happens and I have to disappear… I don’t have to take you too. You are going to get a real life, Lisa.”

“Where this time?” Lisa asked and Nikita leaned into her. “You missed another question, Lisa.”

“I did?”

Nikita nodded her head up and down. “You should have asked if you are going to get to see me… because this couple… they are friends… they don’t live far from me. You may even end up in the same school as Adam.”

“Adam? Who is that?” Lisa questioned and Nikita laughed. “Michael’s son.”

“Does he look like Michael?”

“Do you want him too?” Nikita questioned and caused Lisa to nervously laugh and turn red. Nikita felt the buzz of her cell phone and she pulled the comm unit up and back into her ear. “Michael?”

“Heading back. Head to the airport,” Michael directed and Nikita stood up. “Michael?”

“You were right.”

Nikita turned her hand to the side and sent the email that would trigger the second good dead of The Angel of the day to occur. Boston was going to get a huge story tomorrow morning too. Nikita tapped Lisa’s shoulder. “Come on… we are going home.”
