Subject: I got lost early on in a scuffle wi'some toads, but I got pointed in t'right direction by a couple o'beasts who said our rowdy lot 'ad sailed from Salamandathingy. Third Island lucky I falls out of a blinkin' tree and got stalked by Swift fer a bit. Nothin' that interestin' really...*She peers at her abandoned dinner partner, who is trying to mop up the stew on his knees with a piece of soggy bread, and shakes her head with a sigh. * What can y'say? All height an' nothin' ontop of the mast. 'Scuse me. *Feeling a little guilty, since they are guests after all, Kit wanders over to clear up her small mess.*

**Pearl grins and winks at Kit, having wandered over to a group of studious-looking otters** OTTER 1: Ah, Pearl, if'n I'm not mistaken! I would 'ave spoken on yore part 'bout th' pet-thing, but I couldn't be too sure. They wouldn't let us over close enough t' determine if'n you was otter or not! OTTER 2: Must you talk so? Miss Streamsong will think terribly of you if you are spouting information, yet still talk like an old seadog. PEARL: **Grins** Why thankee for th' kindness any'ows. An' ye can call me Pearl, I'm no fancy beast. Er, may I? **Motions to an empty seat at the table** OTTER 1: O' course! OTTER 2: You mean, "Why certainly, Pearl". How many times must I tell you! OTTER 2: **Winks**Jus' another time, mate! D'you like some? **Offers Pearl a bowl of soup and a small spoon of hotroot** PEARL: Sure, but 'ow about a bit more 'otroot? **Ladles more in** (NT)Pearl Streamsong, Saykin & Lindo, [Seaken, Searemm, & Seaquon (Unintoduced... maybe later, maybe not...)]17:48:25 10/24/03 Fri
