Actually, keep in mind that whenever a spirit touches air, alcohol, aroma, flavor, etc, basically dissipate dependent on volumne and surface to air ratio. Basically if you have a bottle open and a good cork, if there is not much air in the bottle it will last a good long time. However, since the cork is not a perfect seal, and as you open/close the bottle, and as the volume of tequila reduces, the flavor of the tequila will change for the worse.
