Well, back home, there were packs. Closley knit family units that never went anywhere without someone from the pack with them. Here it is different, and Grandma and I are having a very very hard time adjusting. Here there are no packs, just groups. Grandma has figured out more than I have, but she says that the groups, which Skokis call packs, are just places to meet wolves. They don't see each other much, come and go as they please, will leave for days and days at a time and you don't know where they are. Grandma and I were the only ones there when we left. And I doubt anyone cares.
