*He climbs up to the top of the falls... and sighs deeply*

"She didn't say yes... she didn't say no... she said nothing... she is the main part of my life... and yet I am none of hers..." he pauses and looks at the water below, sunshine on rocks making rainbows in the air, "And the pups don't like me... I work my hardest to give them a place in which they can grow with peace and happiness... and they hate it. These two things are my whole life... and neither seems to be working well. Why live?" He looks over the edge of the falls, debating whether or not to take the plunge... Whether it was more painful for him to live with his unseccessful life.... or more painful to die, and drown like the seemingly useless rat he was.
