You will spend tons of money on gas,hotels, travel, floats buying gifts for the directors and buying lots of chapstick if you plan on fitting in. You apply for a job that you pay money for and you better be ready to work lol. You basically work for free at the prelims, your daughter works for free and anyone else you bring...all while the directors are pocketing that money. the only good thing that comes out of the year is the bond your child will make with the other girls after being forced by you to spend so much time with each other.

Should also mention that while raising money for vjc is amazing .........they would be able to give much more if they didn't have all the crazy expenses and obligations. At the prelims you usually see two parents working the concession stand for vjc while the other parents are helping the paid directors for free.....something to think about.....
