The policy is as follows (just so everyone knows):

The UC Regents reserve the right to revoke passage priveledges at any time to any person. If they don't like the way someone is, and they don't belong on campus, they can be taken away. Period.

It is very sad that these people feel an air of hostility around being trans-identified, but this just shows us we need to get more across the board training on senstivity for the UCPD.

Since the chair of the UCPD systemwide is our police chief at Berkeley (and a great queer ally), I will talk to her about the most efficable way to get better senstivity training across the system, so that we won't have to go individually and beg to each of our police depts.
