Well, there's always one that got away. No one assess things correctly every time. Wasn't it Golden State that oonce had Robert Parrish......and concluded he wouldn't be enough player for them? I think later on he became halfway decent with the Boston Celtics.
I see Larry gave an interview on some radio station saying, in effect, Darko wouldn't play much the first two years. Two years??? I shake my head. My fear remains that he's going to do the same thing Carlisle did....play the old codgers to get himself as many wins as he can in order to make himslef look good. I hope I'm wrong. Deep down I suspect many at the Philly forum have a good handle on him. CK
