I do remember the hot hot hot day it was, walking through the desert, and there it was, the oasis called 7-11. Yes, the first thought was slurpee. And yes, our long hours of research had confirmed that US slurpees are different. I first noticed this when I was in Hawaii back in 1987. I was kinda dissapointed in it so I drank the newly discovered "iced coffee in a can". Much more satisfying. It had cream and sugar included. These are everywhere now, but man, what a discovery.
Anyways, Canadian Slurpees do rule, as our research has founded.
