Subject: Edmonton Hossin'!!

Let me tell ya folks!
Everything I could get my hands on was devoured! And it was all courtesy o' the fine cookin' of my ma!
Man, she can cook like no ones business. There was plum dumplings, chivapci (home made), poppyseed bread, stuffed peppers, pita, chicken, garden grown veggies, steaks, cabbage rolls, homemade banana pancakes, bacon, whoa! And that was the eating in part! We ate more going out for dinner too!
The big fishing trip turned into a bit of a let down folks...The river was high but the fish and weather did not cooperate. At least bigfoot was fun to tease. I tell you, he's awful at tetherball. So my pop n' I, after a day of fishing, made a meal out of what we had. It was smoked meat that was fried up, and we heated chili and poured it over top of the meat and then sliced up tomatoes in it! Bread, libations, fruit followed. Plus, there was a couple of lottery tickets to scratch when our guts were bursting. Of course, coffee followed. Fresh brewed on the campstove! dang..we're good.
Anyways, was a good holiday! Thought I'd share the edmonton side of good hossin'! yeeee hawwww!!
