That always makes me nervous...

I've been lurking, but not posting. Just waiting to see if anyone would ask for me after my week-long hiatus (which, by the way, started 2.5 weeks ago). But anyway, no hard feelings! I have some exciting news to share!!

My family is moving in one week! I have accepted a teaching position at a high school in Crawfordville FLORIDA!!! This has been the fasted life-changing decision I have ever made, but it feels like the right thing to do. We've been busy packing (Annaliese has tried to help some), and busy saying goodbye to people. One of the important things on our to-do list is to visit our favorite restaurants one last time. We've been to:
-Culver's, an excellent burger and frozen custard joint
-Pickles, a local restaurant (nothing particular spectacular, but good food and good memories)
-Longhorn Smokehouse, one of the best barbeque places on the planet
-Dos Reales, an excellent local Mexican joint
My husband has been to Niro's Gyros again (I don't think I'll be able to squeeze it in though...)
Thursday we will have Papa Del's pizza (Chicago-style) MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITE MEAL
Who knows what else we can squeeze in the next six days. I hope to get another one of my mom's German Chocolate Pies, but I haven't requested it yet. And maybe my mother-in-law's Gooey Butter Bars. MMMmmmmmmm... If not, I'm sure we'll have them at Christmas.

Well, I need to get back to packing.
