yes, I used to go to that store as a young buyer of comics and I absolutely did not agree with the guy and the stores politics. They always had a great selection and were pretty on top of it for ordering stuff, but as soon as even a brand new comic came out and they preceived it as valuable, they would slap a bag on it and mark it up a couple of bux. oh man...and I know Slurp knew Darryl and thought he was ok, but he was always a jerk to anyone I knew. Even his "discounts to fileholders" would fluctuate and be depending on the comic. It's a known fact about this store/guy in the comic circles.
