Well before we get to the b-b-q let's start out with breakfast..We decided to meet at the world famous "Joe's Grill at time of 1:15pm..My sweetie and I ended up running late because she was having computer problems..So I phone soupy to leave a message telling him we were running late..But souphead was still at home becuase he KNEW we would be late!!

ha ha..What a guy..


Anywhoo we get to Joe's and my sweetie and souphead both ordered the "basic"..The basic is egg's (as you like them), bacon or ham with pan fried potatoes and toast. I ordered the chorizo and egg's *gak-gak* and in lue of the potatoes I asked for another egg. I had mine scrambled since that is the only way I can eat my eggs..My breakfest was ok but my sweetie and souphead didn't come out as well.. Their potatoes were almost charbroiled and the service wasn't up to Joe's usual top-notch standards. After breakfast I noticed Joe wasn't in the kitchen I asked where he was and I was informed he was working at the other Joe's Grill since there was a special parade was going on in that paticular neighborhood..(normally I would insert a joke here about the parade being for souphead's "people"..but I won't)..If Joe had been working at the Kit's Joe's Grill we would have had excellent potaotes.. But my sweetie, souphead and I sallyed forth into a beautiful sunday afternoon..

We decide that tonight we will have a b-b-q at my swinging pad

Souphead comes by later that evening with a grocery bag full off meat and corn on the cob from a farmer in Abbotsford....We notice that the steaks he brought over were freezer burned..So Soupy fires up the "Tangerine Dream" and we are off to the Safeway and score an awesome deal on porkchops!! We also get a fine mess of greek salad "done up right"..I also suggest we buy buns to make b-b-q porkchop sandwiches..

Head back to the pad, fire up the b-b-q and get the fixings ready..While soupy was pouring some b-b-q sauce into a bowl I suggest we add a little off my favortite Chinese chili/garlic sauce in there to add a little bite!!

Soupy summons the b-b-q powers that are his ansetorial hertitage and mans the grill!! He places the the corn on the cob on the top of the grill (they are still wrapped in their ears) and lets them slowly cook while he handles the meat..Porkchops are cooked and we sit down to a fine meal..When it comes time to eat the corn I must confess I had serious terpidation about the cooking style my pal had decided upon..and boy was I wrong!!!...I think that was the best corn on the cob I ever had..It was sweet and soft and oh..so...good..Way to go soupy..

We accidently bought "C2" instead of regular Coca-Cola and the stuff is actually pretty good!!

The evening ended with soupy and I polaying video games..The game in question "Timesplitter:3" The arcade portion of the game..Team combat, soupy and I vs the AI..Soupy picked for his character a skeleton that was dressed like a sheriff....and I, I picked the monkey! ;-)
