I *personally* used to think that skipping out on a company meal was a good call if I didn't like the people I was sitting with. But, as I mentioned on another thread (the one where Souphead was complaining about Slurp seeing Episode 3), that one bit me in the backside.

In cases like these you must not refuse to partake in the group activity, otherwise you are blacklisted and classified as a troublemaker. Not a good position to be in.

So eat! Enjoy the meal, if not the company.
