- Creepy Relationship -- Poozy, Thursday - March 02, 2006
I have to say, that I'm pretty hard to shock and I'm mostly open minded, but there is something bothering me about Victoria and Brad's relationship - and it's creepy!
Not only has this relationship with Brad turned Victoria into a whiny, needy, weak, crying, little baby - IMHO, they aren't addressing the REAL issue:
Which is NOT Ashley - and NOT how Victoria can win over Brad's daughter -
BUT: That Victoria is Abby's SISTER - not her new "Almost Step-Mommy".
This relationship is wrong. I think that TPTB are completely sweeping the fact that Victoria and Abby are sisters - under the rug.
This fact is important! Victoria keeps talking about "Winning over Brad's daughter" when she SHOULD be building and creating a relationship with her little sister.
And if she DID build a relationship with her sister, eventually she would realize that she is planning on becoming her sister's mommy, and marrying her sister's daddy, and that both of those things are CREEPY!

- SUV = Blender? -- Poozy, Thursday - March 02, 2006
This is what I saw:
Victoria hands Sharon a set of keys to a NEW SUV and Sharon acts like she got handed a blender for her anniversary.
Then Sharon is talking to Brad, and to change the subject, she casually mentions her new SUV like it's just something that happens every day. And Brad reacts the same way.
Is this what it's like to be rich? No smiling. No OMGs!! No shocked looked. No big sigh of relief that maybe your car won't break down for a while?
Can you say, "Spoiled"?

I guess working for Paul is rubbing off on him. I thought he was a lot smarter then that. Why would the paparazzi want pick of Colleen anyway? He should of known it was a set up.

-Year Vet Jerry Douglas Leaves Y&R
Posted Sunday, February 26, 2006 11:53:08 PM
It's the end of the line for long-time The Young and the Restless star Jerry Douglas (John Abbott). After nearly two-and-a-half decades the soap vet will be exiting the show this week.
Douglas hasn't been fired. His exit is chalked up to a storyline: his on-screen persona will take the fall for the murder of Tom Fisher.
But some fans are wondering if the top-rated soap can really afford to ditch one of its longest-running cast members. And a cryptic statement from the show's newly-appointed head writer does raise some eyebrows. [Read related story: Behind-the-scenes changes at Y&R]
"Jerry has been, and continues to be, an integral part of the Y&R cast," said Lynn Latham in a statement.
Douglas joined the cast of The Young and the Restless in March 1982. Prior to making his first appearance on daytime television, Douglas appeared in numerous feature films, including "Mommy Dearest" and "Good Guys Wear Black."
When contacted by soapcentral.com for comment on the possibility of a return to The Young and the Restless by Douglas, CBS declined to comment.
"Y&R does not comment on contracts, rumors or storyline information," a spokesperson responded.
Douglas makes his final appearance - at least for now - on March 1st.

- It Never Fails -- Poozy, Wednesday - February 22, 2006
I think it's just hilarious that the only time that the good people of GC watch TV is when someone is in the news - LOL!
I don't think I've EVER seen a TV in the Athletic Club! And now there's a nice, new, flat panel behind the bar...I wonder who got to write that off???
