I wasn't able to look at the clip of the Danny Lia tai chi, but from what I read his CPL comes from the WSC version like mine. so I would belive it to very similar. I agree with you that a schools form would look a little different depending on teacher and intent Health/Martial or Martial/Health and lineage. However, If I am walking down the street and I see you practicing I should be able to tell right away that you are doing CPL. That did not happen with BKF. I think variations of a form is inevitable however, differnt interpretations should have a different name like modified CPL. I am not saying that it doesn't have it place or that it is not effective it's just not Tradtional CPL.
