Subject: Video tapes = Time capsules

I've still got more than half of my video tapes to list back on my computer. (Since we now have a CD burner, I'm going to burn the data on there after I'm done so it won't be so much of a hassle for me the next time.) I had to check through a tape I did in February 1989. (My youngest neice was born about 7 months later - in Septemeber.) On the tape was that year's American Music Awards...which aired on ABC. I had taped the commercial breaks. One of the commercials was for "Who's the Boss?" & "Roseanne". The main reason I was checking the tape was to see which one of the 2 Davy Jones episodes of "My Two Dads" was on it. Another tape I had to check out was from a decade later, late 1998 - early 1999. This tape had a lot of odds & ends on it, included were some entertainment news stories about the DCS episode when Drew was in China & when Shirley Jones made her first appearance. What I found so funny - the syndicated episode of DCS on tonight was the one right after the China episode. Also on the tape was when Drew won a TV Guide Award & when he was at the syndicator's convention, pushing DCS. In the later, he mentioned that he might be having to come again soon to push WL. How much things have changed!
