Wayne's show went national starting in the first week of September when it began it's second season. Before that it was only carried in a few markets. Now it is carried in every major market in the country. We didn't have it here in Boston the first season either.

Wayne does sing quite frequently on the show. He begins most shows with an improvised song (I love his Friday week in review songs). There's been quite a few times he's sung with guest starts. Off the top of my head I remember he's sung with Phil Collins, Tyne Daly, Robert Downey, Jr., Paige ??? (from Trading Spaces) and a whole lot more. Music is really an intergral part of the show. From time to time he also does musical improv games during the show. Most often he'll play Wayne That Tune which is a bit like Greatest Hits. Audience members give him a song title and/or musical style and Wayne and his band make up the song.

I think some of the funniest things on the show, though, are whenever he does a cooking segment. Let's just say the man should not be allowed in the kitchen and I do wonder if he knows how to boil water.

I've really enjoyed watching the show because it's such a different change of pace from most talk shows. Jean and I actually tape ever day since it's on when we're at work and we watch it when we get home at night.

Julia
