I was indeed in Tahoe this past weekend, but I was really focused more on other things. I did get a nice pic of Chip (www.geocities.com/bixiecup/chipesten.jpg), but it was really just a weekend off for me as a photographer. Nor did I take notes, so sorry about the absence of those. As far as I was concerned, I had enough things worry about Saturday night!

Oh, and by the way, Caesar's publicity department really--and I mean REALLY--messed up the promotion posters for the show. The photos alone were lousy--the lighting was too harsh, makeup was either not present or unflattering under that particular lighting choice, and everyone look stoned, hung-over or just plain... plain. To make things even worse, when the dipshit who designed the poster put the lousy photos onto it, he/she didn't exercise their basic digital knowledge. The photos were distorted horizontally on one poster and vertically on another--an easily-avoided problem. It made Brad, for one, leery about getting any pictures taken by anyone else, regardless of the fact that I am a trained pro. Some very basic things were screwed up on the posters, and Brad in particular was upset by it. Although on the bright side, Chip and Jeff got a really good laugh out of 'em! Chip pointed out the one behind the entertainment desk, and he even pulled Jeff down the hall to look at the other one.

I'd like to sit that designer/photographer down and give them a thorough photography lesson, I'm tellin' you!
