Mainly for downloading stuff, maybe burning some CD's and not really stuff for work (office) stuff but word processing, speradsheets for home stuff or other projects that I may do. Games? probably not because I spend too much time surfing the internet and reading messageboards-if I got games software I never get any housework done! If you're wanting the pc for games is this where the good sound & graphics cards come in?

Probably eventually I'll get a scanner. Someone told me that I should get a lot of memory if I'll get a scanner.

I was going to get a pc because that's what I'm used to using at home and work.
