Is basically a loaded weapon in a game of russian roulette. "Training" takes out a few bullets but there's still more than that left. (my animal behaviour prof's example but it works. probably that's why he was the professor ;) And Jack Hannah used a similar analogy on the news last night so I guess it's a popular one ).

What that tiger did - grab by the neck, drag - is basically the textbook example of how a tiger attacks its prey. Spot on.

Hope Roy'll be okay. Even more hopefully they'll do the smart thing in this case and get the tiger to a nice place where it can live without having humans having extensive direct contact - a zoo or a wildlife preserve. They are a gorgeous - and unfortunately quite rare - species. Just gotta remember that they're also years of predator instinct under many pounds of pure muscle with sharp pointy bits ;)

(which is the same reason why everytime someone notices my interest in wolves and asks 'want one as a pet?' I look at them as if they're mad. mad I say.)
