I was watching the Simpsons today (not sure if you watch it often) and it was the episode where Homer's in a lot of pain and the doctor prescribes him marijuana to take away the pain. And Homer's like, "That's illegal!" but the doctor's like

"It's only illegal if you enjoy it."

I think that sums up a lot of the freedoms in life. Nothing's allowed if it's a real pleasure, and if it is available, it's illegal. I realize that this is quite an unfortunate standpoint, but it's true in a lot of cases.
