I can't tell you what the word means here, however, I can point you in the direction to look where you may be able to get the information. The song "Lavender's Blue" is one of Mother Goose's songs. There are references to Mother Goos as early as 1650 in Loret's La Muse Historique.

A good place to look for more information on the song would be any place that deals in English music from the 17th & 18th Centuries (when this would have been a "Top 40" hit). You may want to try the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation (www.history.org), David and Ginger Hildebrand - The Colonial Music Institute (http://www.colonialmusic.org/), or Dean Shostak - Glass Music (http://www.colonialmusic.org/). If you sent any of them an email they may be able to help you with your answer or point you in the direction to look for it.

It may well turn out to be that it is now an obsolete word whose meaning has no bearing on us today. Hope this helps.
