I never got asked for ID either ~sigh~, but I was told I wasn't allowed to take pictures of the cocktail waitresses, although one pretty girl did obligingly pose for a shot. Plus I wandered all over the place with my camcorder, and only once was I told I couldn't shoot video -- that was when we rode one of the floats in the New Orleans Hotel. What a blast that was! And one of the workers helping us dress for the float felt sorry for me not being allowed to take video, so he took me backstage and let me film them getting the floats ready to go on their rounds. What a nice guy!

The floats were really something. They glide along the ceiling of the hotel, over the casino (naturally, what would any Vegas hotel be without a casino?) and we were all decked out in costumes, slamming away on tambourines to the loud music. Ahhh... memories.

The All Stars Show was in the Hollywood Theatre of the MGM that year, and the theatre was inside the hotel itself, which meant that when the guys exited after the show, we were all standing around waiting outside the door, right inside... the casino. Ah, well, it kept us out of the rain. I got GREAT video of all the cast. I watch that video all the time.

That was back in January 2001 -- where some of us got to meet up for the first time: me, Proopschick, Melanie, LKK, Michelle, Laura, Dawn, Dharma... and ElderLeigh -- anyone remember her from the old ABC boards? Nice lady.
