Subject: O/T: Yesterday was also "Earth Day"...

My local radio station morning show had people call in with ideas for activities:

The PCB trout fishing derby.
Giving out cigarette-butt mulch.
The lead 'paint by numbers' Earthscape.
Kid's asbestos ball pit.
Find the hole in the ozone game.
Acid rain 5K run.
Then onto the pesticide cool-down misting tent.
Flourocarbon balloon release.
Kids can play in the West Nile stagnant water wading pool.
The wetlands draining party.
The 200 meter industrial sludge-pit backstroke.
New parking lot construction party.
The giant panda 'fur-to-coat' competition.
The aresol can release party.
Nuclear lawn darts.
Acid rain car wash fundraiser.
Elephant tusk carving class.

After all the activities there will be:

Dinner of endangered species stew with spotted owl salad, whale oil & vinegar dressing.
OR, an acid rain fish fry, all cooked over the old tire fire Bar-B-Q.

They will also be giving away free T shirts saying:
"Don't worry, somebody else lives downstream".
