DALLAS, March 4 /PRNewswire/ -- International Delight(R) coffee creamer has single-handedly answered Americans' need for an extra hand during their busy mornings. With the help of entertainer extraordinaire Wayne Brady, International Delight introduces its new plastic packaging featuring the coffee creamer category's first one-handed open and pour bottle. International Delight is produced by Morningstar Foods, Inc., a subsidiary of Dallas-based Dean Foods Company (NYSE: DF).

To articulate how International Delight's sleek new plastic packaging and one-handed pour help to ease consumers' morning chaos, two new television commercials, created by DDB Dallas, will air featuring Brady singing original songs. The first commercial features a song set to the tune of "I Say a Little Prayer for You," originally written by Hal David with music by Burt Bacharach. The second spot, entitled "Singing the Blues," is an original piece created by Brady specifically for International Delight. The integrated marketing campaign also will include national print advertising from DDB.

"From the moment you wake up, mornings can often be a hectic and chaotic time," said Bing Graffunder, president and chief operating officer of Morningstar Foods. "International Delight is part of morning rituals -- a familiar part of the day that makes mornings uniquely your own and sets the tone for the entire day."

The new bottle -- distinguished by its new sleek ergonomic shape and bold blue lid and label design -- allows for a convenient one-handed open and pour, a feature developed based on consumer research and one which rated extremely favorably among consumers.

"It's an exciting time in the coffee creamer category," said Graffunder. "Consumers have a voice in today's competitive marketplace and at Morningstar we're listening. From a one-handed pour to culturally inspired flavors, we're continuously working to bring to market exactly what consumers want."

International Delight is produced in Morningstar Foods' Murray, Kentucky plant and is distributed nationally through the refrigerated dairy cases of select traditional retail outlets, as well as select mass supercenters. Morningstar Foods manufactures and distributes eleven flavors in the International Delight brand family, including: French Vanilla; Vanilla Hazelnut; Cinnamon Hazelnut; Hazelnut; Irish Creme; Southern Butter Pecan; Chocolate Cream; Kahlua(R); Vanilla Toffee Caramel; Amaretto; and the newest flavor, Canela.
