Subject: Mr. J. C. Short - 1852

Mr. J. C. Short fell from cliff in Lincoln Co., Ky.
Standford - March 5, 1852 - copied from Danville Tribune
Mr. J. C. Short, who was on a fishing excursion, on this date, a short distance above Duderon's Mill, in Lincoln Co., on Dix River, fell from the top of the cliff, which is supposed to be about ninety feet in height, and nearly perpendicular. When those who were with him reached him after his fall, and found hime alive, they were of course much astonished. He, however, sustained but little injury, and is now walking about the streets.
