JKR stamped the 8th book rumor out in an interview. Apparently in another interview she had said that she might wright more after HP7, which reporters exitedly took as meaning 'I might make a book 8'. JKR was asked about this in her next interview, in which she said "I want to stamp out all rumors right here and now: Harry Potter will end with book 7." *sigh* Oh, well... Hey, but at least she might make an enitrely new series of books we can love! :)
