If that happens, Voldemort doesn't die, nobody's marked to defeat him, and technically, everybody at Hogwarts might die in the first book. Changing time messes up things in novels way too well. I mean, after the third book, Snape gets meaner. You'd think he was already at the peak in the third book. In the fourth book, we learn that Snape was ready to test an antidote from the students on Harry. Can you say, "Saved by the Triwizard Tournament messenger?" That's technically one of the benefits the competition helped him on. Why was Snape so upset? In reality, he knew that the trio had interesting ways of saving themselves and others. Hermione used a time-turner. The result was near cruelty by Snape. [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] |
