Ooo, I think you're right about the communicating with the dead thing. Not necessarily with the mirror, but could that play some role in it? I don't think JK Rowling would have just thrown it in for the last few pages, have it break, and forget it.
I never even thought about who would be leaving. Obviously fred and george, as you said, since they had that brilliant end of chapter escape-ish thing in book 5.
For the last part, I'm starting to think that Harry and Cho will not get back together. I think he's getting over her.
