I AGREE! I think I stated somewhere on here before that JKR places things in her books ON PURPOSE! Even when they may not come of use till after a couple of books. She had Sirius give him the mirror, and made a point of reminding us at the end of the book that he still had it (a broken mirror can easily be repaired in the wizarding world)even though he broke it, he did not throw the shards away! So I know there will be communication at least which if nothing else will ease Harry's mind.
