The Colonisation

The murder of the oriental
Princess happened as
The sun arose in the east.

A dagger, made of gold coins,
In her back as she slept on a
Mattress made of hazy stars.

From her lips ruby dripped
Collected by her father,
A cruel the potentate.

Which he gave to the queen
Of England, who in gratitude
Gave him a Rolls Royce.

Equipped with a driver who
Could sing "Rule Britannia "
And spoke as Prince Albert did.

In his daughter's bed, greed
Choked the potentate and from
His blue lips, sapphire dripped.
