Subject: Carried upon silent hooves she remains within sheltered shadow.

Drawing a graceful arrow from her quiver she notched her bow. One eye closed lightly the other taking immediate focus on a small pheasant. Following the birds scuffling movement in the grass, she followed the bird with the tip of the arrow. Once within her range the air was sliced with the chisled tip of stone, and the muffled cry of the bird gurgled as the tip pierced its throat. Walking cautiously from her hiding spot, the dun centauress knelt on her forelegs to remove the arrow and bagged the dead bird. Tossing her braid back over her shoulder she skillfully knotted the bag and tossed it into a larger pack where she had been hiding.
