"I mean, we've been here for a few Rotations already, how could we not?" Kynthia asked rhetorically.

"We've just never been lucky,I guess." Cearah put in, adding, "It's very kind of you and Shannel to let us see the eggs. We've never seen them right after the gold clutches, you know."

"Yeah, and then when we do see them, its not for very long before the dragon gets fussy about us being there," Kynthia said, standing. They all got up, murmuring various thanks to the rider for her invitation, and filed into the hatching grounds after her, Kynthia leading the way for the Candidates and Cailie bringing up the rear.
