Brenda,
Thanks for asking. I've been so busy getting started with school that I haven't taken the time to post, but I can tell you now, after two weeks, that I'm doing very well. The big plusses are more energy, more stamina, more strength, more feeling and more control.

I can do my job so much better. I can't tell you how much that means to me. My career is the one thing I had left following my divorce and my kids growing up. I was worried that I would lose the ability to keep it, but I don't feel that anymore. The fact that I can go to work, stand up and teach my classes and not be exhausted (tired, yes but exhausted, no)is amazing to me. I was given a difficult schedule this year- one that a healthy person would have trouble with, but I'm actually dealing with it very well! I wake up in the morning more easily. That is the biggest thing that I've noticed with LDN. I don't feel like I'm dragging myself around anymore. I have more energy to teach my classes, make photocopies, see guidance counselors and take care of other business and not rely on others to help me as much. I've even gone food shopping after a full day at work!

My walking is better, but even though I am walking more fluidly, I still use my cane at work. In crowded halls filled with high school students, I feel more secure. I still use it when I go to malls or unfamiliar places.

I've noticed more sensation in my feet and lower legs, less spasticity and better bladder control. My friends and family tell me I look better, too. That must be because I'm feeling better.

LDN has been wonderful for me. I'm thrilled with my progress in two weeks and if I have more success it will be even better, but whether I do or not, I know I'll never stop.

Thanks, Brenda, for your inspiration and encouragement. This forum and your inspiration taught me about LDN and helped me make the decision to try it.
Laura
