In reply to: Brenda 's message, "I saw my neurologist today and he is ecstatic over my improvement on LDN" on 18:52:25 12/10/03 Wed

I am very glad to hear this Brenda,So there is hope for us yet! If you saw what maxbtm posted on the ldn. forum then you know naltrexone is far from newly discovered. I read the complete study results and it claims that between any two people there will be a great difference in how fast your body will throw off the effects of naltrexone, this is at 50.mgs per day.
So my point is that your body chemistry being what it is,it will let you recover quicker because you are blockaded longer or at least for the right amount of time each night. Whereas I am getting my wake up call about 2:30 which is about an hour earlyer than those that are doing better.
Now don't get me wrong there has been a whole lot of good happen with my dose and I will never stop taking this in the near future anyway.(until a cure is found)
It just may take me quite a while longer to achieve the same results but we will.
Now after rereading this I wonder.. if I set my alarm to wake me up at 1:00, take my pills , and then if I can go back to sleep. would that make a difference?
I just now got used to taking it at 10:30 and have gained back everything I lost when I dropped my dose down to 3.0mgs. So should I fool around some more or leave well enough alone? Reg.
