Sounds as though you have an intestinal sensitivity and acidophilus is used to correct intestinal problems. There are a few people here using acidophilus as their filler.

ACIDOPHILUS 
Works as an intestinal cleanser. Also helps prevent fungus, diverticulosis, acne, and bad breath. It helps in the absorption of calcium as well as other minerals.
