As most of you may or may not know, Tuesday, March 2nd is my 32nd birthday, and Friday, February 27th through Sunday, February 29th is my “celebration weekend!” I am kicking-off my birthday with friends at Spectrum in Brooklyn, the club that gave “Saturday Night Fever” a home, with karaoke, FREE ADMISSION BEFORE MIDNIGHT, until 4:00 am and breakfast afterward at Americana, a nearby diner! This will also be an unofficial “launch party” for our show “Hopscotch,” since we open that Wednesday. I am inviting everyone from Texas Toast Productions, past and present, to join in on the festivities! Go to www.spectrumbklyn.com for directions and to see what you’ll encounter when you’re there, besides the famous 1977 dance floor. For those that do not want to venture out to Brooklyn but want to get frisky, on Saturday, February 28th, I will be at The Roxy – the ultimate gay New York City Saturday night party on 19th Street in Manhattan, with open bar from 11:00pm to midnight. Admission is $20.00 before 1:00 am or $15.00 if you have a John Blair membership card. At about 2:00 am, my friends and I are going to ease on down the road (skip) to The Eagle on 28th Street, a few doors down from “Crobar,” the new straight bar that just opened up last weekend. The Eagle, where ANYTHING GOES, is FREE ADMISSION, OPEN ‘TIL 4:00 am! Sorry, Ladies, Men only! Straight men are always welcomed (Hint, hint!!!)!!! Sunday morning breakfast at 4 AM, if the energy allows it, will be at Moonstruck Diner on 23rd Street, but we have to eat fast and yellow-taxi-it home, we have a crucial Tech Rehearsal on Sunday morning! John Blair's “birthday present” for me is at Avalon Sundays (the old Limelight), Sunday night, February 29th, allowing me to bring up to 50 of my friends and family for FREE ADMISSION, OPEN BAR from 10 PM until midnight. It’s a great cap on the weekend for those that have to be up early Monday morning! If you would like me to place your name, and any friends you would like to bring, on the “Christian’s Diamond Sex Party” guest list, please let me know by Wednesday afternoon!
