Subject: Today I woke up and you were gone..

The girl was a little bit in the dumps today - her normally cheery self had been knocked off of it's optomistic mountaintop by a call from someone she'd rather forget. It was difficult, when you were plagued by your past, to take advantage of the future that was being presented to you. Dark curls pulled up into a messy ponytail, her favorite two tone ringer tee cut close to her torso, and a pair of ratty, paint stained cords hanging low on her hips, she made her way in without the usual bounce to her step. It was just - if she could make more memories with another guy, she could start forgetting about Joe. That would be the best thing. Pursing her lips, she dropped to the nearest couch. She hadn't loved Joe, and by all means didn't want to return to him, but thoughts of the two of them together still plagued her like they were today.

It's like I'm falling from a mountaintop - my heart keeps pounding and it won't stop - can you see this hell I'm living?

a hand brushed through dark - still wet hair as man raised from the low seat of the car, giving more the apperance of an emo boy more today then any other. Dark hair was mused lightly in back - dark eyes hidden as the rest was let to dry straight - hiding face. Worn jeans hung loose to waist - a checkered seatbelt doing little to hold them up - buckled to the side...a collared shirt clinging to stomache - collar flipped. She watched him move over the back of the couch - this wasn't something that one could put into words and actually, truly explain without a great deal of difficulty, and.. frankly, most people thought it was stupid - she supposed she was just sentimental, - the past was the past and she kept living there until she made a new one.
