He noticed her movement on the couch and gave a sheepish grin, and lifted his leg up. He hadn't really noticed her laying there, having been so wrapped up in his thoughts, but had found the small clear space.
"Oh, sorry miss, I didn't mean to-ah, I apoligise." His english accent was strong, and he rubbed the back of his head, his cheeks flushed with heat. "I really didn't see you there."
He closed his tome and shoved in his knapsack, giving her a small grin, stray strands of blonde hair falling into his face. He brushed them away quickly and lowred his eyes.
"Ah, my name is Dathan, is there any way I could make up for, erm, sitting on you?"
