his lips curve around the tip of her thumb, teeth nipping teasingly. her words make him think though, had this occurred less than a year ago it would have never happened. he used to be a lying, cheating ... well pimp. there was nothing else to say about it. he'd never had a relationship last more than seventy-two hours. it hadn't been his style. but things had changed, and he was getting older. he wanted to return to and live at his sicilian home, but he wasn't okay with returning alone. he wanted to start a life and it was time to do it right, he was ready to try. keyword try, and he would. a grin touches up easily, giving him a somewhat boyish charm. a heavy six o'clock shadow accentuating the bold lines of his jaw and rich, full mouth. his palm splaying the back of her right hip, his other hand bound about her wrist. of course i do. i've got spaghetti. grinning deeply.
