She was beginning to regret the decision to take a year off from college. Her friends were constantly calling her cell, talking endlessly of the new people they were meeting and the fun times they were having. She let out a sigh as she settled into the downy couch. She'd decided to come up here and have a look around, looking for a reason to stay.

(_)Boredom had driven him here once again, needing something to do other than sit at home and watch his mother drink herself into oblivion. His steps were casual and his dark eyes took an easy glance around the room. Tall, well-toned frame made its way into the kitchen where he grabbed a bottle of water from the fridge. A slight frown creased his forehead, he hated positions where he didn't know anyone, or was on unfamilar ground, but at the moment he had no where else to go, and he didn't exactly have all that many friends.
