With every thing moving quickly all of a sudden he just stood there and watched her go after nodding his agreement. Then he looked down at the sleeping baby. Wow..what had he gotten himself into? He'd only held two babies in his whole life..now he had to load this one up and take it home with him. Sighing, he gently slipped her into his arms, rocking her comfortingly when she stirred in her sleep. Then he headed for home, praying she wouldn't wake up.
