((Uhh.. wut? What's the wrong info? Lol I'm so majorly confused at that last bit you replied with =s))

I've been accused of living in my own world.

She smiled as she pushed a peice of stray hair back in place. It was a "golden" rule that you were always supposed to laugh at a guy, even if it wasn't funny. Desiree didn't follow rules. It wasn't that she found what he said stupid, but she didn't find it had enough to make her laugh. She didn't deceive people, and while his comment got a smile out of her, she wouldn't go as far as making it sound like she was sucking up. Flirting was harmless, but overall she did find it deceiving. When possible she made sure to avoid it, but smiling to her couldn't be called flirting.

Music? It's my life.

Looking at him she caught his amused grin. He must think she could read people. In fact, she couldn't, she could only read those alike to her. Her whole life she had been wrapped up in the art of music, and it was awesome to meet someone that felt the same. Her parents had always hated the passion for music she had, but who's ever encouraged it? She once heard someone say "If my parents pushed me with my music I wouldn't be doing it" That statement was full of truth, a lot of kids she knew played hard, and half the reason she played that hard was because their parents hated it.

Am I that obviously a starving artist?

The girl chuckled softly. Just a small tickle of a laugh. Cute, she liked this one. It was weird how you could base first impressions and then live by them for the rest of your life. While she hated first impressions because they were soley judgemental, she knew that they were important and strong. Nah, an artist just knows another from sight. Her voice wasn't seductive, and it had lost it's tease, but it wasn't frim and boring. It was more... friendly. If you want to call it something. She grinned at him once again, but of course she didn't hold it longer than she needed to.
