These are the days
When we're dancing through the haze


Over a week he had been here, and things still weren't looking so great. He was running out of excuses for not unpacking, it seemed to be raining more often than not these days - and given that walking was his main method of transportation, that was getting to be a bigger and bigger problem - and this one-horse town still had yet to provide him with the inspiration he had been hoping for. He had never been one to give up so easily though, and so he was still around, still doing what he could to try and make the most of the situation. After spending the morning in his apartment pushing around boxes, he had sat out on his balcony for a little while - watching the rain from beneath the slight overhang - but then had grown restless and so gathered his stuff and hoofed it back out here. A light black hoodie pulled over his fitted white tee - unzipped but the hood pulled over his head - he trudged slowly up the path towards the building, hands shoved into the pockets of his khaki-colored corduroys, the always-present messenger bag along, of course...
