Unhindered by the rain - when you were born and raised in the 'burbs of Seattle, you got to the point where you hardly noticed a little shower any more - she trudged up the path towards the lodge. Hands tucked into the front pockets of her faded jeans, her shoulders were slightly hunched and head bowed - a rosey pink sweater fitted to her slim torso and her navy jacket zipped up, though it was anything but waterproof and did little to protect her from the miserable drizzle. Once up the stairs and on the porch, she glanced over her shoulder and pushed a hand through her damp, dark curls, turning slowly with a soft sigh. Her gaze searching the expansive lawns until she found what she was looking for, she leaned over the railing and whistled for the mammoth-sized Rhodesian Ridgeback that had gotten distracted along the way and was hunting some imaginary being hiding in the bushes. With a small smile, she murmured a quiet word of praise to the dog for his obediant come and dropped a hand to ruffle his ears before pulling open the door to the lodge and heading into the dry and warmth...
