He lets her rest silently for awhile, glancing down at her every now and then, then looking out across the yard watchfully. He didn't want to rouse her, unsure if she was asleep or not. His hand absently runs through her hair as he looks down at her again.

Woops, that was a mistake..now he can't say anything..lol
