Subject: All he had ever wanted was to skirt her away from the mansion, to take her away from the life she lived - but of course she'd never agreed to that - he'd let himself become tortured, and now with things so close with Adrien, with so many risks being taken, he knew that his time with her was short - he'd never convince her to leave Adrien - and so this was his conundrum. He felt as if someone had struck him physically - and he took a couple of hesitant steps toward her - she was the only thing in this world that ever made him unsure, unsteady and doubtful of himself.
