Subject: He didn't know what to say still - if he had had the voice to say anything, he wouldn't have been able to draw any words out of the air to use. He just continued to hold her, feeling a little numb as the realization hit him of just what exactly she would have had to have done for this to not be his. He didn't know whether he'd honestly expected fidelity out of her or not.. but it still stung nonetheless.
