She was the total opposite of him in that sense - when things got tough, she just simplified as much as she could, whereas he just made everything more complicated. Sighing softly, her fingers dropped to rest on his knee and squeezed tightly for a moment before she just shrugged her slight shoulders a bit. "Every once in a while I guess..." Either when she wanted to be on her own and the apartment was too crowded, or when she wanted to be around people and the apartment was empty. It wasn't her favorite place, but it was a place. "Can we go somewhere?" She questioned quietly, with a hint of hope sparking in her soft eyes - she just couldn't be mad at him, and she just couldn't forget about him.
